Sound is often overlooked and treated as secondary, yet it defines and shapes how a story is experienced.
My work covers different stages of audio production – from capturing clean sound on set to shaping and refining it in post production.
Boom Operator & Production Sound Recording
On set, my focus is to capture clean, natural, and intelligible dialogue in challenging environments. As a boom operator and production sound recordist,
I work closely with the camera and directing team to ensure that sound supports the visual storytelling. A strong production sound is the foundation
for every successful audio post production process.
Dialogue Editing
Production sound is not always perfect. Noise from locations such as wind, traffic, or crowds can interfere with dialogue clarity. During dialogue editing,
I clean, balance, and prepare spoken lines to ensure they are clear, consistent, and ready for the final mix. When needed, this process can also include
ADR preparation and support.
SFX Editing
Sound effects are all the realistic sounds that enhance actions and movements within a scene. From subtle environmental details to impactful moments, SFX editing helps bring depth, realism, and energy to a project. Carefully placed sound effects make scenes feel more alive and immersive.
Sound Design
Sound design is where creativity takes the lead. It involves creating and shaping sounds that do not exist naturally or that serve an emotional or
narrative purpose. Whether subtle textures, atmospheres, or stylized elements, sound design supports the mood, tension, and identity of a story.
